MB Šeštadienio laboratorija (eng. Saturday lab) is spin off of Antanas Gustaitis‘ Aviation Institute of VILNIUS TECH. The company was founded in the beginning of 2020, but the real start of operations is considered to be in 1998, when the Copernicus program was launched. The goal of the initiative from which the company was born was - to enable the best scientists and engineers to create solutions for the future, i. which will be needed in 10 years. The company specializes in four areas: agriculture observation and research, meteorological observation and research, aerodynamic observation and research, and space-related observation and research. A typical product usually has four stages: monitoring, information processing, desired situation modeling, and making recommendations. The first two stages are adapted to typical tools available on the market, e.g. Smart Farming software.
